Defcon Zero is an upcoming cooperative tower-defense game that is played from a third-person perspective, with up to four players controlling distinct robots. Each robot is equipped with unique abilities, enabling them to place towers and obstacles to defend the map's "core" against waves of invading alien bugs.
I did animation programming in Unreal Engine 5, using the latest cutting-edge animation features such as stride warping, orientation warping, full-body IK, distance matching, and more, to improve the movement and realism of third-person characters. Implemented networking on a server-client model to synchronize player actions and animations seamlessly. Created networked turret and trap building system.
